Cochrane RCMP is turning to the public in hopes to identify a suspect involved in a Cochrane liquor store theft.

Corporal Troy Savinkoff, says although the theft occurred back on February 26, they were waiting for the release of a photo. "The reason for the delay in time is just simply we have a suspect photo we can release. We were able to obtain a photograph from video surveillance of the female suspect and we are looking for anyone who has information."

The theft which occurred at around 3 p.m. on the 26th shows the woman placing a bottle of liquor in her bag. No details were provided as to what was stolen or cost of merchandise.
