Cochrane RCMP is currently on the scene of a two-vehicle motor collision on Highway 1 near Old Banff Coach Road.

Currently, the westbound lane on Highway 1 just east of Old Banff Coach Road is impassable due to the collision and it is estimated that it will remain impassable until around 6 pm this evening (November 5).

As weather conditions deteriorate, Cochrane RCMP would like to remind motorists to use extra caution and to drive for the conditions.

We will update when all lanes are open and at this time it is not known if anyone suffered any major injuries.
