Saturday evening saw a sold-out crowd pack the house at the Cochrane Lions Event Centre for a trip back to the 1970’s.
BGC of Cochrane and area hosted a fundraising event with two acts taking the stage. First up was Dreams, the ultimate Canadian Fleetwood Mac tribute band.
After a quick set change, Canada’s premiere ABBA tribute band took the stage and rocked the band's biggest hits including "Dancing Queen" and "Fernando".
Some fans came prepared with ABBA masks for the fundraiser (Photo/BGC Cochrane Facebook)BGC also saw great success with a silent auction and 50/50 throughout the night. The event raised thousands of dollars for the non-profit which saw over 2,500 children and youth use their programs throughout the past year.
