It is a really big day for the Village of Cremona as the annual Cremona Show and Shine doubles the population for one day. It is happening this Saturday, September 11 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Sadly, the beloved event had to be cancelled last year because of the pandemic, but it is back bigger and better than ever for 2021. Back in 2019, the 8th Annual Cremona Show and Shine saw approximately 300 entrants and it is hoped that the attendance will meet or exceed that this year.

Organizers have stored the raffle prize away for a year now and cannot wait to give it away.

President of the Water Valley and Cremona Chamber of Commerce, Bryce Quigley says, "We're very excited for the upcoming Show and Shine, as we know last year was impossible. So, very excited probably most excited about the Corvette that we will be selling raffle tickets for. You can come to the Show and Shine and win our 1984 Corvette, it's yellow, it's awesome and it will be fun for someone to win that."  Note that online tickets are not available for the Corvette you can only buy tickets n person at the Show and Shine.

Aside from the grand prize draw there will be numerous other prize draws, a 50/50 draw, breakfast, lunch, vendors, and kids events.

Naturally, there will be hundreds of amazingly cool cars to see as well. Quigley says, "We are also excited about the street that most of the Show and Shine is on more of that has been paved up by the arena and the hall. So, we have a large paved area so most of the cars will all be together on the same big street. So, yeah it should be an awesome day."

For those that have a vehicle to register, it is free but you are asked to bring a donation for the Food Bank.

Vendor tables are available for $25.

Saturday, September 11 is the day for the 9th Annual Cremona Shine. Saturday, September 18 is the rain date, but historically the Show and Shine has had good weather. The forecast is looking favourable for this Saturday.

Cremona is a short, scenic drive north on the Cowboy Trail (Highway 22) it truly is a beautiful ride.
