A Bridging Relationships Vigil will be held on July 1, Canada Day at 9:30 p.m. at the Jack Tennant Memorial Bridge.

Cochrane and Stoney Nakoda residents are invited to come together to share solidarity to honour the memory of Indigenous Children who attended one of the many Indian Residential Schools.

The event will be an opportunity for people to come together to talk, heal and move forward to better relationships.

Following the meeting at the bridge, the vigil will end with the bridge being lit in honour of the children.
