No one could have predicted how far our little April Fools' joke would reach.

The story about Disney World Canada coming to Cochrane has been viewed more than a million times and in more than 125 countries! 

This silly joke had the radio station phones ringing off the hook for days, we had emails from all over the world for weeks and months later we still get asked whether or not there's any truth to this theme park setting up shop in our town.

We received shocking news with the announcement the Cochrane Primary Care Centre is closing permanently, leaving many Cochrane residents without a family doctor.

After being missing for over a month, two girls from Cochrane were found safe.
