Ag in Motion Discovery Plus Show Director Rob O'Connor says he's pleased with the response to the first day of programming and the decision to carry on with the show and move it to a digital platform.

"There was obviously day one, one or two small glitches where a few videos started later than we wanted them to but other than that everything went really smooth.  I think the chat boxes during the presentations were utilized well.  I have to give lots of credit to AgVisor Pro and New Holland they did great jobs interacting with attendees during the presentations."

He says as far as seminar attendance the lowest attendance has been 77 rangings into the hundreds for others, with the 50 or so presentations from yesterday, we ended up with about 5000 people going through the different sessions."

The whole show seemed to be well accepted by exhibitors and farmers with people pre-registering for the different seminars.

O'Conner says the Field of STARS event was a fantastic way to end it off yesterday.

The fundraising auction and concert with Washboard Union raised close to $200,000 for STARS.

He notes another highlight with the digital format is the crop plot tours which allow farmers to see how the different crop plots around Saskatchewan are progressing.

On the Livestock side today is Beef Day with a discussion on how Livestock are Critical  to a Sustainable Food System, there is a session on Genetic's, Field Backgrounding Calves, the Producer Assurance Rebate Program for Beef Cattle and a Beef Value Chain Sustainability Panel.

O'Conner says registration for Ag in Motion Discovery Plus is free and is still open for producers to sign up and take in any of the 240 scheduled sessions for the week.
