The town has added a further road closure to address the wastewater incident.
A section of Riverview Dr. is closed from where it intersects with Griffin Rd. and 5th Ave.
Town officials state the temporary closure is due to repairs to the water and wastewater systems. It's expected to last a few days.
Flaggers and road closure signs will be in place. Area residents will need to access their neighbourhood via River Ave.
Just previous to this, eastbound Gleneagles Drive was closed from its eastbound Hwy 1A access point. It's to allow for the efficient filling of the water reservoir.
Water trucks continue to roll into town from Harmony and soon from Calgary to prop up the water system during the state of emergency.
All pathways adjacent to the Bow River from the Hwy. 22 bridge to Griffin Industrial Point remain closed, including Jim Uffelmann Memorial Park, paths directly adjacent to and below the Hwy. 22 bridge, and pedestrians on Hwy. 22 bridge.
