Best Neighbourhood champs come out in droves to party

Community pride is evident in Heartland. 

The Appaloosa Playground was packed for Broadview Homes Cochrane's Best Neighbourhood Showdown wrap-up party on Friday night.

Hundreds attended the event from all over Cochrane. (And we're pretty sure everyone from Heartland was there too).

They were all there to celebrate the community taking home the title of the 2023 Best Neighbourhood. 

It all started with 12 neighbourhoods and Cochranites got to vote to decide which community would be crowned the best neighbourhood. Once again, we were amazed at how many votes came in, and from how far away. Countries from all over the world, including Italy, USA, Australia, UK, Netherlands, Poland, Indonesia, Belize, Germany and France. 

In the end, Heartlanders came out with the most votes and were crowned the 2023 champs. 

Thousands of dollars worth of prizes were handed out including multiple Country Thunder tickets to see Luke Combs, Hardy and Dallas Smith next summer, as well as a trip to Pinnacle Lifestyle Resorts, and a gift pack from Renew + Refresh Medical Spa. 

The final contestants were able to scan their way into winning the brand-new $65,000 truck from Your Alberta RAM Dealers.
