Starting next week, you'll be able to book your campsite with Alberta Parks however, there have been some big changes.

They have a new website, and you will need to create an entire new account as none of your previous information will be saved.

The changes went into effect on Tuesday Feb. 6 and as of Monday Feb. 12 the new website was up and running at Shop Alberta Parks.

That's where you'll now need to go to book your campsite.

And as of this Sunday Feb. 18, you will lose all your information from your previous account at Reserve.AlbertaParks.ca including your camping history and what sites you've previously used.  None of your information will be transferred to Shop.AlbertaParks.ca.

Some of the new features highlighted on the website include highlighting available sites for last-minute campers and you can now pay with either Visa or Mastercard or a debit card.

And you can start reserving your summer sites as early as Tuesday of next week.
