Canada's U18 women's team has a rematch with Finland on New Year's Day in the IIHF world championship.

Today, the Finns shut out the Czech Republic, 3-0, to get a second crack at the Canadians in the semifinals.

Cochrane's Sarah Wozniewicz is a member of Team Canada. She scored the final goal in a 4-1 preliminary round win over the Finns. 

Team Canada will have two days rest going into the semifinals after going undefeated in the preliminary round. Besides the Finns, they also beat the US and Russia.

Switzerland and Russia were the other winners yesterday.

Today is a day off for all teams in the championship.

On New Year's Day, the Swiss play Slovakians and the Russians will tangle with the Americans.
