The Cochrane High volleyball teams continue to be a force to reckon with in Rocky View Sports (RVS)

Both won their matches in straight sets, Nov. 6, on their home court and remain undefeated in their respective seasons to date.

The senior girls downed the Springbank Phoenix, 25-16, 15-18 and 25-20, in semifinal action and will be meeting Chestermere in the finals. Chestermere was number two in the division and the only match they lost came at the hands of the Cobras.

The seniors boys team beat the Bert Church Chargers, 25-17, 25-17, 25-16. and now face the Phoenix in the final. The Phoenix overcame second place George McDougall, after only losing one match all season, also against the Cobras.

Game time is 6 p.m. for the senior girls and 7:15 p.m. for the senior boys.

Zone 3A championships follow on Nov. 17-18 and the 3A provincial championships are one week later.
