New, online classes from the Cochrane And Area Humane Society have now launched. Covering topics such as training a new puppy during the pandemic all the way to classes on behavioural issues in older dogs and keeping your furry friend entertained.

Lisa Kedian, Communication Coordinator for The Cochrane and Area Humane Society says that these classes will be a great resource for any dog owner in Cochrane. "Just because we have to do physical distancing and classes are postponed, it doesn’t mean you should stop training your dog. We have made it really easy for people to continue training with these online classes and get answers about their pet behaviour issues or if you just need advice.”

"We are looking to support the community, which supports us so well. We are offering these classes by donation. In light of what’s happening, a lot of people are out of work or not getting the same pay they are used to so this is our way of showing support to our community. It’s basically pay what you can for the time being for these classes.”

The classes will be conducted over ZOOM, an online conferencing app and hosted by a variety of certified professional dog trainers. Go here to check out the available online classes.
