Cochrane Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) and the Family Resource Network (FRN) would like to remind Cochranites about the Cochrane Connect Card.

With the overall well-being of Cochrane and area residents in mind, the card was created to provide low-income families and individuals with access to a variety of services at a reduced rate and is available throughout the year.

Wendy Farnsworth Coordinator of FRN says, “The Cochrane Connect Card provides eligible families and individuals a discount on community services that could be the COLT bus pass or savings on the SLS Centre memberships.” There are currently 18 local businesses and two Town services offering a range of discounts to Cochrane Connect Card holders.

The application process is based on income level and anyone who is interested in finding out more are encouraged to book an appointment with a resource worker.

Families with children aged 0 to 18 are asked to call the FRN at 403-851-2265.

Individuals and families with children 18 and older, older adults, and rural residents can call FCSS at 403-851-2250.
