On Tuesday, March 23, the province saw 465 new cases of COVID-19 after 7,300 tests were performed for a positivity rate of 6.6%.

There are now ten more people in the hospital for a total of 290 and five more in ICU for a total of 53.

There were 197 new cases of variants of concern reported, 195 of the UK variant, and two of the Brazilian variant.

The province is close to the half-million mark of vaccinations at 497,280.

Rocky View County has added three new cases for a total of 64. Stoney Nakoda is reporting no new cases and holding at 13 active cases.

Cochrane has added two new cases for a total of 25.
