Police are now calling the death of a man on the Stoney Nakoda First Nation from last month a homicide. 

RCMP responded to a home at approximately 7 a.m. Sept. 8 to find the body of a 55-year-old man. 

An autopsy was performed on Sept. 11 at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Calgary.

There it was confirmed that the manner of the man's death was a homicide.

RCMP continue their investigation.
