Cochrane's Dillon Dube scored twice and earned the third star in the Calgary Flames' 9-1 win last night over the Arizona Coyotes.

Dube scored 38 seconds into the second to tie the game, 1-1, then notched another at the 3:11 mark to cap off a four-goal scoring spread by the Flames in a mere two minutes, 33 seconds. Both goals were unassisted.

Earlier that day, the Flames clinched an NHL playoff berth after the Edmonton Oilers beat the Las Vegas Golden Knights. The Flames are the first team in the Pacific division to secure a playoff spot.

Dube has three goals in his last two games, scoring the lone goal in the Flames in a 6-1 loss to the Golden Knights on Friday night.

Calgary is now on the hunt for home-ice advantage in the playoffs. Their last seven regular-season games kick off Monday night in Chicago against the Blackhawks.

Dube has 13 goals and 14 assists in 72 games, all career highs in his NHL career.
