If you are wanting to get a sneak peek of fashionable fall wear while supporting a great cause, this is your last opportunity.

Tomorrow evening (October 10), community members will be treated to an evening of fall fashion trends, fun, and even a bachelor auction.

Toni Montanaro, Owner of Brio Boutique shares she has been steadily approached to host a fundraising fashion show, and nothing tugs on her heartstrings more than supporting Cochrane's upcoming women shelter. "It is important to me to create awareness mostly because I am a mom with young children, I love Cochrane and living in the community, and I kept thinking what if that was me? I would now have to uproot my children and pull them out of the schools they love, daycares, and move from a community we adore. I felt like that would be a punishment, and I thought we need to take care of our own. We need to keep these women and children living at home and living in the community they know and love. Every cause is important, but this one triggered something for me."

While Montanaro has hosted charity fashion shows in North Battleford before this is a first for the Cochrane community. Montanaro is excited to get attendees fall-fashion ready and showcase what is trendy for the season. "Generally speaking, Brio is quite classic, so people will see some premium denim, cashmere, and blazers. Although we are sticking to a few classic pieces like some beautiful coats and knits, we are definitely pushing it. We did a special buying trip out of LA so that you will see some high-fashion streetwear like puffer jackets and jumpsuits. We will be trending and pushing it for the show, and we have been keeping the fashions under wrap until tomorrow."

Ana Botelho-Clark, Co-Chair of Big Hill Haven, says from boxing events to fashion shows, the charitable organization is excited about tomorrow's debut event. "Toni approached us a few years ago, and she has a strong passion and a pull for the cause. She is a great supporter, and thrilled to not only showcase her own business but also support and bring awareness to Big Hill Haven."

The amount of support from the business community and groups is not only growing but key in helping to help push out the message. "The initiative is still in process, and although there is no physical shelter per se yet, it is coming. We rely on supporters within the community and from the community at large. We are in the capital campaign, and we are looking for those large donors and annual donors to help fuel the project forward."

Part-time Outreach Worker for Big Hill Haven, Patti Fisher, will speak at the event to help drive home the need and importance of a shelter in the Cochrane community. "Domestic Violence Awareness Month currently runs in the States in October and Canada, in November. We will be distributing domestic violence awareness ribbons at our events, and encouraging women to show their support by wearing one."

Doors to tomorrow's inaugural Fashion House Charity Fundraiser and Fall Fashion Show at the Venue Bar and Grill will open a 6 p.m. with fashions hitting the catwalk at 7. Attendees will also be able to purchase food, a purple coloured signature drink named 'Brio Bubbly, enter to win a five hundred dollar gift card, and take home a fantastic swag bag.

Lastly, Cochrane's Resolve Legal Group will be hosting their own rendition of 'The Bachelor' by auctioning off some lawyers as a fun fundraising component.
