Rocky View high school basketball play wrapped this week until after exams.

The senior girls Bow Valley Bobcats improved a 2-2 record with a 67-42 win over the Bert Church Chargers, Jan. 17. The same night, the junior girls fell to the Chargers 53-37 and are 1-2 on the season.

On the road the same night, the Cochrane High Cobras senior team fell to the W. H. Croxford Cavaliers, 79-36. The Cavaliers junior team remains a perfect 4-0, and the Cobras are second in their division with a 2-1 record.

In senior boys, the Cavaliers beat the Cobras. 85-74, on Jan. 16. The Cobras are 1-2 in the early goings. The Cobras juniors boys team remains in the hunt for their first win after losing to the Cavaliers, 98-62

The senior boys Bobcats are 2-2 after being beaten by the Chargers, 84-65. The junior Bobcats were handed their first loss of the season by the Chargers, 78-67, in the battle of the division's top teams. The Chargers remain a perfect 4-0, and the Bobcats are 3-1.

Play resumes at the end of the month after the exam break. The regular season continues until mid-February.
