Canadian Country Music Hall of Famer George Fox is set to rock the stage at Bragg Creek Days.

The former Cochrane resident will play two shows on Saturday afternoon.

Organizer Dick Koetsier said the day is full of events, but it all kicks off with flapjacks at 8 a.m.

"The morning pancake breakfast will be hosted by the local fire department, and then at 10:30 a.m. is the parade."

Koetsier said they're looking forward to having George Fox perform.

"We always try to find somebody that has a connection with the area that has gone onto make a huge difference in the music world."

"We had the pleasure of having Ian Tyson perform at the event back in 2019." said Koetsier.

The event typically brings in two to three times their local population, which means parking can be a challenge.

There will be a market, family games, a pie eating contest, beer gardens and BBQ.

The live music kicks off at noon and goes until 5 p.m.

Eric Ruttle and Lauren Meister from the 91.5 CochraneNow Costen Insurance Morning show will MC the event.
