#55 is becoming embedded in the minds of Oiler fans after an impressive first major crack at NHL playoffs.
Bragg Creek's Dylan Holloway was recalled from the Bakersfield Condors on Apr. 9 and has not only found a spot on the Oilers playoff roster but excelled.
Holloway had his first-ever two-goal game in the first round against the Los Angeles Kings. With everything on the line in Game 6 against the Vancouver Canucks in round 2, he neutralized defenders Elias Pettersson and Quinn Hughes to score a beautiful opening goal in the first period.
Last night, he notched an assist on Cody Ceci's opening goal to help advance the Oilers to the Western Conference Finals.
He's now a +4 in 12 playoff games this season. When you include his appearance in one playoff game last season that rises to +5.
The Oilers open their Western Final series against the Dallas Stars on May 23.
