Many members of the Cochrane Immigrant Services Committee know what's it like to live in a new community far from their families on Christmas Day.
For the sixth year, they're presenting Jingle Mingle on Christmas Day at the Cochrane Alliance Church from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
They'll be freshly made soup, sweets, small gifts for children, and a visit from a very special guest.
Committee member Paul Singh says everyone it welcomed to drop by, whether or not they're new to town.
"With the weather like this, please, I would highly encourage people to come and meet new people in town."
