Kara Kondrat was named the Saskatchewan Huskies' top performer in their 4-0 win over the Brock Badgers yesterday in the U Sports national female hockey championship being held in Charlottetown, PEI.

The win has advanced the University of the Saskatoon team to the semifinals tonight against Concordia Stingers at 4 p.m. MST. (7 p.m. in Charlottetown, PEI).

The Huskies expanded upon their 1-0 lead with three goals in the third, two of them within the first four minutes.

Kondrat scored the Huskies' third goal and assisted on their fourth. She had four shots on net and a +2 rating in the game.
