Sunshine and miniature horses made for a great day at Bethany Cochrane this week.

Robinson Outreach at RiverCross Ranch (ROARR), a non-profit organization that provides Equine Assisted Learning and related therapies to youth and elderly in need, spent the morning brightening the day of seniors in Cochrane.

“Back when COVID was around, we actually couldn't have them at our ranch so we brought our horses to them,’ Tracy Brooker with ROARR says. “Now we have so much interest that we come back and they're actually going to let us come into the building today.”

“We're excited because that's the first time we've been able to do that.”

Three miniature therapy horses, Hugs, Kisses, and Hersey spent time with residents in the courtyard and indoors receiving pets and love.

“The seniors absolutely love them. Bethany Cochrane is one of our regulars and they come every month to the ranch, they're excited.”
