The Town of Cochrane has closed all outdoor rinks due to the warm weather.

Mitford Ponds, Tim Bannister Memorial Rink in the east end, and the downtown ice rink have been closed. 

Crews have been working on the ice surfaces but the warm weather is impeding ice maintenance.

The facilities will remain closed until a stretch of freezing weather returns.

The town also wishes to remind residents to stay off of stormwater ponds, creeks, and rivers at all times.
