In Cochrane, people will be able to attend the outdoor Remembrance Day Service this year.

The ceremony starts at 10:45 a.m. sharp at the Cochrane Cenotaph on 5th Avenue. 

Those in attendance are asked to wear masks and practice social distancing.

Seating will only be available for veterans.

For those who choose to watch the ceremony virtually, you can do so through the Royal Canadian Legion website or Facebook page.

Or, you can listen to a Remembrance Day program being aired on 91.5 CochraneNow beginning at 11:00 a.m.

 

The Cremona Remembrance Day Ceremony will be held outdoors west of the Cremona Legion parking lot beginning at 10:45 a.m.

Wreaths and crosses will be set up at 7 a.m. (sunrise) and removed at 6 p.m. (sunset) on November 11, 2021.

An open house at the Cremona Legion will follow COVID-19 protocols with proof of vaccination needed for attendance.

 

The Bragg Creek Remembrance Day Service will not be held indoors but instead, a shortened outdoor ceremony will be held adjacent to the Bragg Creek Cenotaph.

The ceremony will begin with a wreath-laying at 10:50 a.m.

You are urged to dress for the outdoors.

The washrooms at the Community Centre will be open and mask protocols will be in place.
