Time is running out for Riverview community residents to sign up for a Canada Day Mini Golf Tournament that runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Organizer Sherry Hufnagel says there's room for a few more teams of four or five, but you have to move quickly. Registrations will be accepted until noon tomorrow (Thursday, June 29) for the fun family event. You can sign up by emailing mrshuff1212@gmail.com.

Teams of four or five are welcome, and it's worthwhile coming up with a creative name. There are prizes for best team name, best team dress, and high and low scores.

She says Canada Day fell on the wrong day of the week last year but it has been held in the past.

The Cochrane Golf Club on Riverview Dr. has an attractive and challenging 18-hole mini golf course that offers plenty of fun for the whole family.
