Yesterday (November 26) at 10 am, Cochrane RCMP was led to the location of a stolen vehicle which turned into a much bigger incident.

Constable Kary Moore, shares things got interesting when RCMP attempted to stop the vehicle. "The vehicle sped away hitting a police car and sideswiping a civilian vehicle. The RCMP did eventually locate the stolen vehicle in Morley and with the assistance of the RCMP Police Service Dog, the driver was arrested a short time later."

Neither the RCMP member nor the people in the civilian car were injured but understandably shaken up.

Constable Moore shares charges are pending at this time and anticipates to know more tomorrow.
