Ninety new COVID-19 cases have been reported over the period of three days from Friday, July 9 to Sunday, July 11.

There are currently 624 active cases in the province, the lowest case count since July 11, 2020.

The positivity rate remains below one per cent.

There are 112 people in the hospital, a drop of 14 cases since Friday and there are 34 ICU admissions.

The truly good news is that no new deaths have been reported for five days in a row. 

The total number of deaths in the province remains at 2,307.

The province is inching closer to the five million mark of COVID vaccinations being administered.  

That breaks down to 74.1 per cent of the provincial population having received one shot while 55.3 per cent of Albertans are now fully immunized with two doses.

Cochrane is holding with eight active cases while Rocky View County has dropped to four active COVID-19 cases.
