Santa Claus is simply tireless in his pursuit of spreading Christmas joy.

During a magically Christmas Eve, he will be dashing through Cochrane neighbours to wish all a Merry Christmas.

He will be travelling the community from 6 to 9 p.m., starting in the Heartland and Heritage Hills communities, then heading south before going to Gleneagles, and wrapping up in Sunset Ridge.

He'll be in a brightly decorated truck, and you may even detect a little Christmas music playing.

We caught up with Santa briefly when he assisted the Cochrane Elves for Seniors with their deliveries on Dec. 19. Talking about the event brought a twinkle to his eye.

"I'm pretty invested in seniors. I'm pretty old myself, you know," he said with a jolly chuckle. "When I caught wind of what was happening, I got in touch with the organizer. I told them I like what you've been doing these past four years. There's so much to be done for seniors at this time of year. That's why I'm here today."

He made a pledge to return next Christmas to help the Cochrane Elves, and who knows, he may even make a dash through town again before heading off to circle the globe.
