Cochranites packed the Cochrane Lions' Event Centre on Wednesday night to see Canadian country superstars, Tim & The Glory Boys!

"Last night's show was 450 people and sold out." says the band. "It was unbelievable. We will always come back to places like Cochrane. That response is amazing and  we love it."

The sold-out, all-ages show was jam-packed with Tim & The Glory Boys hits like 'Float' and 'Without a Prayer'. The acoustic show also stayed close to the bands' roots.

"We've played Cochrane before at the Alliance Church," explains Tim. "We came up as a gospel band called Starfield for a lot of years, Colin and I, then we switched gears and moved into Tim & The Glory Boys and it was gospel so we've played churches up until about three or four years ago, pretty much exclusively."

"A Cochranite, Paul Brandt was influential as we were coming up in bluegrass music, they're like you should join country like we're such a close genre. We were like, we're purists man, bluegrass is our thing. Then they showed us a couple of the revenues from the concerts that they did. We were like country roads, take me home!"
