The Yamnuska Wolf Dog Sanctuary is known worldwide and is located just minutes from Cochrane. The sanctuary is currently home to 29 wolfdogs that the non-profit care for. One of their biggest fundraisers, an online auction of over 150 items, just launched online this weekend.

Manager of the Sanctuary,  Alyx Harris says the sanctuary is hoping to raise a record amount this year. “We’re hoping to raise $15,000 dollars this year. It’s our largest goal we have had ever.”

“The funds are going towards allowing us to keep doing what we are doing. Keep rescuing wolfdogs, keep educating the public about wolf dogs, as well as improving their lives.”

The auction features over 150 items and has everything from activities and adventures to a wolf portrait tattoo. The Yamnuska Wolf Dog Sanctuary’s fourth annual online auction runs until February 10, 2020. All the items up for grabs can be found here.
