The Calgary YMCA has stepped up to help our residents and members of the Spray Lake Sawmills Centre by providing free access to all YMCA facilities in Calgary.

Individuals and families impacted by the crisis are welcome to access these locations free of charge for recreational use, showering, etc. as well as drop-in programming and fitness classes during standard hours of operation.

With a valid photo ID, residents of Cochrane who reside outside town limits can access any of their locations listed below free of charge during the state of emergency.

Nick Wiggins, YMCA vice-president of operations, says the same offer is extended to all SLS Centre members.

"We've been in contact with them, and we're very happy to welcome their members into our buildings as well. Even if you live outside of Cochrane, but you're a member of the Spray Lake Centre, you're welcome to use our facilities at no charge, just bring your membership card."
