The Cochrane Rockies Peewee Tier 5 team proved unstoppable on their way to becoming provincial championship.

It's been an exceptional season for a team that won two other banners before claiming the provincial title.

In Hanna, they competed against seven other zone champions. A weekend of great hockey and awesome team bonding saw them win all four of their games. They outscoring their opponents 44-12, including a 12-5 final against the Barrhead Bruins.

This Tier 5 team also captured the Central Alberta Hockey League Tier 5 Blue Division Championship over the Canmore Eagles on Mar. 9,  followed by overall Central and Southern Alberta Banner title (CAHL Tier 5) over Pincher Creek and Red Cliff on Mar. 17.

On the team were Rowan Hill, Nathan Wagman’s, Reid Sleeman, Caydan Arsenault, Cole Paiement, Jacob Pennell, Ryder Hopper, Ethan Kirwan, McKinley Tysdal, Felix Richard, Seth Kolev, Tristan Lalande, Harrison Price, Jackson Soyka and Cody Labelle. Coaches were Wayne Potter, Chad Hill, Shawn Kirwan, Brent Gosselin, Mark Tysdal.

Congratulations on a memorable season that will resonate for years.
