Bobcat Sadie Nielson goes up for a basket. The Bobcats play Brooks tonight in the semifinals. The Cobras challenge Highwood.

The Bow Valley Bobcats came into the tournament ranked number two in the zone and beat the Olds Spartans, 54-34. The Spartans showed determination to catch the Bobcats but four consecutive three-pointers in the dying minutes of the game by the Bobcats Hannah Bahrey sealed the deal.

Tonight at 6 p.m., the Cobras face the number one ranked Highwood Mustangs followed by the other semifinal matchup between the Bobcats and Brooks Buffalos, Brooks won an overtime thriller in their quarterfinal against Canmore.

The championship finals start at 3 p.m., preceded by the consolation final at 11 a.m. that morning.

All of the remaining games are at Cochrane High. The Bobcats got to enjoy their home court for their quarterfinal game.
