The best of seven South Divisional Semi Finals are under way and the Gens continue to dominate the series against the Banff Academy Bears.

Dan Gendur, Head Coach, says although they are playing a bit of a weaker opponent the Gens aren't taking any chances and are playing some great hockey.

"We have taken this Banff team lightly throughout the regular season but the guys have stepped up and we are playing very good hockey right now, winning 12-1 and 8-0 it is definitely reflection of that."

Gendur says they aren't taking any games lightly right now and they are hoping to wrap up this series early.

"They are a confident group, they think they have an advantage on us the way they played against us in the regular season. I feel like we're the team that needs to prove that we're the number one team against Banff."

The Gens next opportunity to crush the Bears happens this evening (February 18) at Spray Lake Sawmills Family Sports Centre at 7:30 pm. If all goes well the boys could wrap up the season in four tomorrow (February 19) in Banff at 2:30 pm.
