It's no surprise that online shopping has grown even more popular throughout 2020, and now with Cochranites staying home this Christmas, shipping out gifts to loved ones is more important than ever.

Canada Post has announced they are seeing record amounts of parcels and are asking that people get their packages in as soon as possible. New holiday shipping deadlines were released today that show just when you need to get your package in for it to reach its destination before December 25.

Packages for a local address need to be in before Friday, December 18.  Regional parcels deadlines range from December 14 to December 18. If you are sending a package with a national destination, the deadlines range from December 15 to December 18.

While Canada Post has hired over 4,000 seasonal employees and added 1,000 vehicles, the company is reminding everyone that due to high volume and the COVID-19 pandemic, packages could be delayed.
