J.K Rowling fans can enjoy the spin off of the Harry Potter Series on Friday, November 18.

The Cochrane Movie House and Cochrane Public Library are teaming up to debut Rowling's first film script 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them'.

Andrea Johnston, Cochrane Public Library, Librarian, says the event will be filled with wizards, wands, and beasts of all sizes.

"It is going to be special 3D viewing, we have rented out the entire theatre, 177 seats all for us. Doors open at 3, after the movie we're going back to the library for an after party."

Event goers are encouraged to dress in their best wizardy wear, the after party will include, food, trivia games, and activities for all.

Johnston says the event is a fund raiser for the Library's 'Learning Lab'.

"We are hoping to raise a couple hundred dollars more just to bring in more exciting stuff, we have sewing machines, scrap booking materials, pod casting equipment, green screen equipment, robotics. We want to bring in a lot of things where people can make, play, and learn."
