Saskatchewan handed Alberta their only loss of the round-robin in the first game of the tournament. Alberta went on to soundly beat the Yukon 103-13, doubled the Northwest Territories, 80-40, before finishing the round-robin with an 88-35 win over Manitoba.

Saskatchewan went into the gold medal game undefeated and won silver. Manitoba got bronze.

On the soccer pitch, Aislin Phillips and the rest of Team Alberta rounded out their tournament with a 1-1 tie against Manitoba. It was the closest game for the Alberta squad, which has dominated the tournament and handily won their first three games. In total, Alberta scored 29 goals and allowed only one.

Track events start tomorrow in Swift Current. Cochrane's Amy Miller will be competing in both the 3,000m and 5,000m.

Wrestling begins Friday as one of the final events of the games. Alberta's team includes five Cochrane Cowboys.

As of yesterday, Alberta had accumulated 173 medals; 64 gold, 57 silver and 52 bronze. Manitoba is closest in the standings with 85 medals, followed by Saskatchewan with 81. The territories have eight medals between them.
