Over 60 students at Cochrane High are gearing up for a big performance this week.

The play is called The Mob and it's about hundreds of crows that set out on their annual migration and converge at the Gathering Tree which gives the chance for the crow clans to celebrate being together.

Grade 11 student Emma Anderson says they rehearse quite a bit leading up to the play.

Megan Ogilvie says "There's a lot of preparation in the set and some of the technical designs that they're using that they haven't done before."

She says "They have a huge team that are working with shadows and that's about eight people. The technical theatre and set building teams are quite large and they have a big ensemble cast as well."

The play runs November 6-9th.
