There continue to be two known active cases of COVID-19 in Cochrane, and Rocky View County now has five.

Provincewide, Alberta Health Services identified 158 new cases in the last 24 hours.

By the end of Sept. 23, there remained 1,462 active cases across Alberta. Fifty-eight people are currently hospitalized, including 14 being treated in intensive care units.

In total, 15,467 people have recovered, and 958,534 have been tested.

The majority of new cases continue to be discovered in Calgary, which has accounted for 50 per cent of all cases identified in the province since the onset of the pandemic. 

There have been 261 deaths. None have been from Cochrane or Rocky View County.
