The Cochrane Lioness Lions Club is looking for new members.

Club President Kathryn Gibbesch says they do a lot in the community throughout the year.

Gibbesch says "Just getting right back into the community. We fundraise, we sell things, we put on trade shows just so we have the ability to put more money into the community and put more events on for the community so that we can have everyone kind of involved."

The club puts on several events including the Labour Day Parade, the annual Mom to Mom sale, an Engineering for Kids workshop and the Christmas Craft Fair.

Their members range in age with some of the original members from 1978 as well as some members who are in their 20's.

Gibbesch says they meet  the 4th Tuesday of every month at 7:30PM.
