Cochrane’s Dillon Dube is returning to the international stage, and it looks like he’ll be bringing a fellow Flames teammate with him this time around.

Dube served as Captain of Team Canada at the 2018 IIHF World Junior Championship, and led the team to a gold medal win.

He’ll soon be heading to Riga, Latvia to represent the Nation at the 2021 IIHF World Championship.

Andrew Mangiapane has also earned himself a spot on the team. This will be his first time suiting up for Team Canada.

Dube is wrapping up his third season in the NHL, scoring 10 goals and 10 assists for a total of 20 points this season.

The World Championship will take place from May 21 to June 6, with Canada scheduled to face off against host-nation Latvia to open their schedule.
