Two men, charged in the murder of a Calgary man whose body was found near the Springbank Airport, are set to appear in court in Cochrane today. 

Airdrie's Andrew Christal, 32, is charged with second degree murder.

Calgary man, 52-year-old, Robert Daignault is also charged with second degree murder and is set to appear in court today. 

The Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit charged three people in relation to the death of 30-year old Kasif Hirani of Calgary.

Hirani's body was found on Dec. 29, 2019.

Mounties deemed Hirani's death a homicide and linked the crime to a stolen 2013 Kia Optima that was found in Calgary on Jan. 13, 2020. 

It's believed Hirani was an Uber driver from Calgary.

Also charged with second degree murder in the case, is 34-year-old Trista Tinkler of no fixed address.

Tinkler is set to appear in a Calgary courtroom on Aug. 20.
