Grab your lawn chairs, blankets, snacks, and bug spray, and head to Mitford Park this Friday night (July 21) to enjoy a free family movie night, courtesy of Cochrane Home Treasures.

With the weather looking much more promising than last week, Cochrane Home Treasures has announced the family evening is going ahead this Friday, weather permitting, of course.

"It is still again weather dependent, but hopefully it will be good," says Home Treasures manager Cayley Breeze, pointing to a forecast of temperatures in the mid to high 20s and sunny conditions.  "And if there is any bad weather, we'll put it up on our Facebook as well. But we're going with it's going to be great so."

They will be showing Sing 2 at 6 p.m. and Spiderman No Way Home at 8:30 p.m.

A specialized daylight screen is being utilized, so viewing shouldn't be a problem.

Food will be available to purchase from three food trucks scheduled to be at the park.

Speaking of food, the donation of nonperishables is welcomed for the Cochrane Activettes Food Bank.

The family movie night was originally scheduled to be held last Friday but was postponed due to the forecast of rain/thunderstorms.
