Mother Nature had other plans for Cochrane residents tonight.
The free movie in the park event put on by Cochrane Home Treasures has been postponed.
"Due to rain and thunderstorms expected today we have had to cancel our movie in the park." reads a statement on the Cochrane Home Treasures Facebook page.
"It will be rescheduled for another night and we will let everyone know when that is as soon as we do!"
The plan was to show Sing 2 and Spiderman No Way Home.
Residents will have the chance to take part in another free family-fun event put on by Cochrane Home Treasures tomorrow.
They're hosting a Free Community Public Skate at SLS Centre, starting at 9:30 a.m.
