It was a winning weekend for all three of Cochrane's junior hockey teams.

The Cochrane Chaos remained undefeated with a 3-1 win over the Sherwood Park Ice on Oct. 28 and a 7-0 shutout against the Calgary Titans yesterday.

The wins leave the Chaos at the top of the south division of the AJFHL with a 7-0 record. That's only equalled by the Edmonton Wolves in the north division. The two teams meet for the first time this season on Nov. 25 in Edmonton.

The Chaos host the Foothills Storm on Sun. Nov. 5 in Totem One at 5:15 p.m.

The Jr. B Cochrane Generals beat the Wheatland Kings 5-1 on Friday, then the High River Flyers, 6-5, yesterday.

Gens head coach Kurtis Jones was happy with his team's performance.

"Not practicing all week and not doing the regular routine, our guys actually came out to play. We played really well Friday night, and today (Oct. 29) about 30 minutes out of the game, so it's good to see."

The Gens first-ever Pink in the Rink game to raise funds for the battle against breast cancer is this Friday night when they host the Mountainview Colts. Game time is 7:45 p.m. The pink jersey game was originally scheduled for Oct. 27 but had to be postponed due to circumstances beyond their control.

Three goals in the third saw the Jr. C Gens team win their home opener, 6-5, on Oct. 27 against the Northwest Warriors.

They're 1-1 early in the season. This Friday (Nov. 3) they host the Bow River Bruins. Game time is 8:45 p.m. in Totem 3.
