This week make sure you give thanks and praise to our local senior residents.

With so many seniors' giving back to our community through their volunteerism, caregiving efforts, and overall life experience, a whole host of events will take place in Cochrane this week as part of Alberta Seniors' Week (June 2nd to the 8th).

For more than 30 years, Alberta has formally honoured seniors during the first week in June. With hundreds of events taking place across the province, people of all ages can attend an event, catch up with the seniors in their lives or thank those who have made a difference in their community.
