A group of local Grade 12 students were the talk of the town Thursday night after they dressed up and went reverse trick or treating.

Liam, Riley, Connor and Fisher dressed up and handed out candy at people's doors.

They say "We went as grandmas with our door and we were just giving out some hard candy, some Werther's and different things to people walking the streets as well as different houses."

The teens say they've been doing this for the past couple of years and have enjoyed giving back to the community.

They say "A couple of years ago we were oompa loompa's and we went around singing and we did Smurfs and we did the Smurf song and different things like that. So this year we thought since we were in Grade 12 we could give back so we gave out some candy."
