It's McHappy Day in Cochrane!

The 29th Annual McHappy Day is on here in Cochrane.

Both the 5th Avenue and Fireside McDonald’s is donating a portion of proceeds from all menu items sold today to Ronald McDonald House Charities.

"Today's about raising funds for families that have to stay at the Ronald McDonald House," says General Manager, Martin Elliott-Bock. "We want to provide them food, a place to stay and even a game room and all sorts of things for the families to do."

Cochranites can also purchase merchandise like socks to help raise funds for the cause.

"It's five dollars a pair and every cent goes to the Ronald McDonald House in Calgary."

Both locations in Cochrane plan to have numerous local groups stop by to help out including Fire Services, Town Council and more.
